Integrative modeling computes a model based on varied types of input information, be it from experiments, theory, or statistical analyses. is used increasingly to compute structural models complex biomolecular systems that are recalcitrant traditional biology methods, coarse-grained large complexes atomic single protein domains. Modeling requires representation (eg, coordinates in high-resolution structure modeling), scoring function ranks alternative given the information correlation coefficient between density map and electron microscopy), sampling scheme finds good-scoring stochastic Monte Carlo search).
